The Taste of Sudbury, a fantastic annual event, held in the centre of this Suffolk market town is all about celebrating, promoting and showcasing the very best producers, restaurants, chefs and food industries that we are so lucky to have in this part of Suffolk.
In 2019 we will have around sixty gorgeous stalls filling Market Hill and St Peter’s Church with a wonderful selection of top quality food and drink and the whole event is being extended until 6pm so come and make a day of it!
On the main stage we will be welcoming a range of Suffolk’s very best chefs and bakers and outside the Town Hall you will find our brand new area with where the ICE Café and Cook School from Bury St Edmunds will be teaming up with KSL Kitchens and Bathrooms in the brand new ICE/KSL Cookery Theatre. The ICE chefs will be showcasing dishes from the popular ICE Café and offering free, delicious tasters and there will be free, two hourly children’s activities where little ones can make and decorate treats to take home.
We’ll also have a new bar from Nethergate Brewery with extra tables and chairs, a special farmyard area from Hollow Trees complete with animals and a giant tractor from Ernest Doe. Buzz will be serving great coffee, we’ll have a gorgeous flower stall and a selection of street food trucks so it’ll be the perfect spot to sit and watch the world go by.
The Taste of Sudbury is a Community Interest Company, a not for profit organisation representing the interests of local businesses and the community.
